The WWE landscape is set to undergo a massive shake-up with the announcement of an official “transfer window” on the December 6 episode of SmackDown.
According to PW Nexus reports, this upcoming transfer window will involve all three brands—Raw, SmackDown, and NXT—as the company prepares for its highly anticipated debut on Netflix in January 2025.
During last week’s SmackDown, Michael Cole confirmed that General Managers of all the three brands will collaborate to decide which stars will transfer.
Reports from PW Nexus suggest that this transfer window will include significant roster changes, with at least one or two titles switching brands. Some moves are reportedly influenced by Netflix’s preference for certain talent, while others aim to inject fresh energy into WWE’s creative direction.
The OG Bloodline Drafting to Raw
Perhaps the most shocking revelation is about the destination for Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn—The OG Bloodline. PW Nexus also reports that the Roma Reigns faction is expected to move to Monday Night Raw. This transition aligns with Raw’s Netflix premiere on January 6, 2025, marking a pivotal moment in WWE history.
This transfer could lead to new rivalries and opportunities for The Original Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, who has dominated SmackDown for over three years as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Fans are already excited for the new opponents for the OG Bloodline as Raw becomes WWE’s flagship program on Netflix.
In addition to that, WWE recently filed a trademark application for the term “Raw Vault.” While the company plans for it yet to be officially revealed, speculation suggests it could relate to exclusive content or archives as part of WWE’s Netflix rollout.
With the transfer window set to shake up rosters and titles, the WWE Universe eagerly awaits further storylines. Will Roman Reigns continue his reign of dominance on Raw?
Stay tuned for updates as more details about the transfer window and the OG Bloodline’s move.
