The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has been feuding with The Bloodline since long time. He recently stated that he could get help from his family to fight against The Bloodline.
The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes recently had an interview with Rex Castillo and discussed about several topics. During the interview, Cody stated that there are two young boys from his family have considered wrestling as future option. He also stated that he wouldn’t mind to get help from them and Dusty Rhodes to go against The Bloodline.
“I feel like every Bloodline individual when they’re born is told like they have to hate me. Like it’s their job to hunt me down. I have a family-two young men who are considering the voyage into our industry. But I’m very trepidatious to mention them because Dylan and Dolton both at the University of Texas are outstanding athletes, and they really have it in their blood. They got it in their blood because I saw it firsthand when they trained with QT Marshal at the Nightmare Factory,” Rhodes said.
“I really want to slow roll that because [If you’re in a six or eight-man tag match with Cody and Dustin Rhodes] Jacob Fatu is a maneater and Tama Tonga is not to be trifled with. Of course, Solo Sikoa, current Tribal Chief. They’re all superior athletes. I don’t know. We’ll [The Rhodes Family] do it. We’ll go down swinging. It’s a very Rhodes’ trait. We’ll do it, but I know as we get a little more years on us and everything we’ll have sharpened out swords just a bit more,” Rhodes said. (From 05:23 to 06:48)

At SummerSlam, Cody Rhodes retained his Undisputed WWE Championship in a high-stakes match against Solo Sikoa. Reigns, who had been absent from WWE since WrestleMania 40, made a shocking return during the match. While many expected him to interfere in favor of his cousin Solo, Reigns instead attacked Sikoa, helping Rhodes retain the title. This move left fans and Cody himself stunned.
Following this, The Bloodline began to fracture further. Solo Sikoa attempted to take control of the faction during Reigns’ absence, but his reign as “The New Tribal Chief” was challenged. Reigns returned to WWE programming to try and regain control but was met with fierce opposition from his former allies, including Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa, who sided with Solo.
By the time of WWE’s “Bad Blood” event in October 2024, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, now unlikely allies, teamed up to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in what was being billed as one of the most anticipated tag team matches in WWE history. Reigns and Rhodes have found themselves working together against the rising threat of the new Bloodline.
